Nutritional advice & Phytotherapie
Nutritional advice (60 min.)
Nutrition plays an important role for health and the healing process. We at JIVITA bring light into the food jungle and advise you on the basis of current scientific knowledge, long naturopathic traditions and with a lot of personal experience. After gathering a detailed history of your previous eating habits, we will work out a personalized nutrition plan together with you.
Herbal medicine consulting (60 min.)
A medicinal plant consultation can be used for a wide variety of physical problems – as a therapy on its own or in addition to scientific medicine and other forms of complememtary therapy. Everyday complaints as well as many chronic illnesses respond well to herbal remedies, so that there may be an improvement or abatement of the symptoms. The side effects of drug therapies are also often reduced with herbal remedies.
Manual Treatments
Ayurvedic oil massage Abhyanga -full body (60 min.), head or feet only (45 min.)
Type-appropriate oil massage with gentle, long strokes and warm, specially selected oil, this application relieves physical and mental tension. It nourishes the body and nervous system, makes skin and tissue soft and supple, and increases the flexibility of muscles and joints. Abhyanga reduces stress, regulates the flow of energy and stimulates the lymphatic system and vessels.
Reflex zone massage from head to toe (60 min.)
During this mindful massage, the corresponding parts of the body are treated reflectively. After consultation with the patient, foot, hand, skull or even ear reflex zones can be included. During such treatments, a special compress or wrap with essential oils can also be applied to the affected area, which can enhance the pain-relieving and relaxing effect.
Mental Treatments
Meditation (45 min.)
A medicinal plant Meditation is known in almost all cultural forms. Meditation directs the attention inwards and helps to control the restless mind. It increases the ability to concentrate, selfcontrol and inner calmness. This helps to free oneself from ingrained patterns and to achieve clarity, self-realization and unadulterated consciousness.
Yoga nidra (45 min.)
Yoga nidra exercises, which are easy to perform but all the more effective, lead to a deep relaxation that many people have never experienced in this way before. As the relaxation permeates all levels of our being – the physical, the mental and the emotional – you feel completely regenerated afterwards.
Mental therapy (60 min.)
The therapy is suitable for all psychological complaints such as fear, blockages, depression, stress, psychological and physical trauma Mental therapy is a talk therapy in which you also learn mindfulness and meditation exercises according to your needs and situation. Therapeutic approaches are: to understand the mental power (strength and power of thinking), to recognize and see through thought structures (how is thinking related to feeling?) and to break unpleasant habits.
